How it works

The Collaboration Hub is a dedicated space where collaborative ideas can emerge, evolve, and mature into concrete scientific outcomes within the Action. Proposed collaborations are presented as clearly structured projects, each labelled according to its current stage.

How do I submit a collaboration?

A collaboration begins via the "Submit a New Collaboration" button. Simply complete the short online submission form by providing:

  • Problem title
  • Name(s) of proposer(s)
  • Contact details
  • A brief problem description, as text or as an uploaded file
  • Type of expertise required
  • Optionally, images that illustrate the problem

What happens next

After a brief review, approved projects become visible in the Collaboration Hub and move through the following stages:

Open Projects Active Projects a core team has formed Closed Projects

Members can then view full project details, contact the proposer(s), and express interest in joining the project.

Illustrative example

We are launching the Collaboration Hub with an illustrative example by Daniela Flimmel, demonstrating how a collaboration progresses through the different project stages and how submitted projects will appear within the Collaboration Hub.

Get involved

We warmly encourage all Action members to get involved by joining ongoing projects or by submitting new research ideas through the Collaboration Hub. We look forward to seeing new interdisciplinary initiatives emerge through this initiative.

Your personal data

The name(s), email address and problem description you submit are stored on this website and read by the Collaboration Hub moderators. If your proposal is accepted, the project title, proposer name(s), description, required expertise and contact email are published on the Collaboration Hub so that other Action members can reach you. The data is not shared with anyone else and is not used for any other purpose. You can ask for your submission to be corrected or deleted at any time by writing to the contact address in our privacy policy.

COST

COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a funding agency for research and innovation networks. Our Actions help connect research initiatives across Europe and enable scientists to grow their ideas by sharing them with their peers. This boosts their research, career and innovation.
